It moves with real life.
Your daily budget is not use-it-or-lose-it. Whatever you do not spend today rolls into tomorrow, and whatever you overspend comes out of the days ahead. No failed day, and no starting over on the first of the month.
Apple App of the Day
Tell it what comes in and what has to go out. It hands you one number for today. No spreadsheets, no bank login, no mental math at the checkout.
Most budgeting apps hand you more to manage. This one answers one question: can I afford this today?
Salary, side gigs, pocket money. Set it once and it repeats on its own.
Everything already spoken for, set aside before you ever see it.
The $3,000 left over, spread across 30 days. One honest number. Buy a coffee and watch it move.
Many people with ADHD tell us this is the first budgeting method that has ever stuck.
“It is much easier to actually follow and understand my budget using this app and I have severe ADHD.”
Your daily budget is not use-it-or-lose-it. Whatever you do not spend today rolls into tomorrow, and whatever you overspend comes out of the days ahead. No failed day, and no starting over on the first of the month.
A $600 holiday paid on one day would sink the whole week. Spread it over two months and it costs $10 a day.
Bright colours, clean screens, no clutter.
From morning to midnight the number keeps up with you, so there is nothing to open and nothing to remember.
The developer does not collect any data from this app.
“Tried them all… this is the one.”
“Now I always know when I can afford to splurge and when I need to save.”
“I’m feeling more confident and less guilty when I spend money.”
Chris was a university student in Germany, living on a budget that had to last the whole semester.
Every purchase came with the same question: If I spend this today, will I still have enough next month?
Traditional budgets showed him monthly totals, split into categories. But they could not tell him what he really needed to know: how much he could safely spend today.
So Chris opened Excel and built his own answer. It turned the money he had into one simple daily budget. Spend less today, and tomorrow’s budget grows. Spend more, and it adjusts automatically.

With this, managing money felt simple.
In 2012, Juno joined Chris, and together they turned that spreadsheet into an iOS app: Daily Budget Original.
People loved it right away. Since then it has been downloaded more than five million times.

Today’s Budget is built on the same idea, with the latest Apple technology, still made in Berlin by the two of us.
14 years later, we’re still obsessed with the same idea. We use the app every day. We test, we argue, we tweak the same feature for the 200th time. Write to us — one of us writes back.
